Evening with John Leonard Burris. John Burris is an American civil rights attorney, based in Oakland, California, known for his work in police brutality cases representing plaintiffs. Clients included Rodney King, Latrell Sprewell, and most recently, Oscar Grant in re to the BART Shooting. Burris also represented controversial basketball star Latrell Sprewell. Burris has appeared as a legal commentator on MSNBC, CNN, and other networks. He authored Blue vs. Black accounting Police brutality on Blacks. http://www.johnburrislaw.com
