"When Disaster Strikes"

On September 11, 2001, both the American Bar Association and the New York State Bar requested from The Lawyers' Club copies of "When Disaster Strikes." The Club developed this manual to aid in law firm management both during and after disasters.

Since September 11, 2001, The Lawyers' Club has had many requests for the manual. The Board of Governors has decided to establish a committee to focus on updating the manual, present continuing education programs dealing with preparing law offices for disasters, and developing forums on the appropriate response from the legal profession to terrorist acts.
